Isaiah 64:8
" But now, O LORD, thou art our father; we are the clay,
and thou our potter; and we are all are the work of thy hand. "

As Gods children we are like clay God pushes and pulls us in the direction that

we should go. God has a plan for us He has a goal on what he wants our lives to end up being.

I'm not a potter and I've really only played with play dough. However I am a gold

Smith and there are a lot of similarities to my job and that of a pot maker.

We are both making something to be beautiful and useful out of some kind of media

just instead of clay I use gold.

I shape and pound the metal and if its not prepared for me it will crack And if it

doesn't move in the way I try to move it won't be turned in to the beautiful

piece i have in mind and will never reach its full potential.

But when it conforms to what i what it to do it becomes something beautiful and useful to me.

As clay we don't know what the end product of Gods work will look like

all we know is that we must remain workable letting him create while being the best clay we can be.

After all he put us here for his glory not ours.

God wants us to fellowship with each other, it help us grow, keeps us strong.

and holds us accountable when we are away from the family that would have filled that space.

During school many if not all of you are in Tahlequah alone.

Your families not here with you and if you have a church it might be hard or impossible

to make it to services every time the doors our open.

So what arises from your separation in these two groups is a loss of fellowship

the main purpose of MBSF is to fill that empty spot that you have since you left home.

we want to be your home away from home we want to be your family.

Someone to talk to, someone to share with. if you have a question about God and his word

we want to search the scriptures with you and get the answer, we want to rejoice with you

in you victories and be there for you during your sorrows this is going to be a place where

christian friends get together to become better clay for God.
